Refund policy

• Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags/labels attached.
• Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation) is required.
• Custom or personalized items are non-returnable unless defective.
• For gifts, the recipient can initiate a return for store credit.

1. Email us at sales@brightersidelighting.com with your order number and reason for return to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
2. Securely package the item and include the RMA on the label.

• You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item) or defect, in which case we'll provide a prepaid label.
• We recommend using a trackable method; we're not liable for lost returns.

• Once received and inspected (typically within 7 business days), we'll process your refund to the original payment method.
• Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
• For non-defective returns: A 15% restocking fee applies, and you'll receive 85% of the item price (excluding original shipping fees).
• For defective/damaged items: No restocking fee; choose refund or replacement. Send photos and details to sales@brightersidelighting.com within 30 days (or up to 1 year for manufacturer defects).
• International returns: You handle customs/duties; refunds exclude these costs.

• Defective items: We'll replace or refund at no cost to you, including shipping. Contact us immediately upon receipt.
• All products come with a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects (excludes misuse or normal wear).
• We reserve the right to deny returns that don't meet these terms.
